Wham, bam, big slam — that’s what’s coming your way now that All-Star Wrestling is making its return to Squamish.

Known for WWE-style wrestling and showmanship, this time around the event will be featuring Joey Ryan, who has a 100,000-strong following on YouTube.

One of Ryan’s most interesting recent performances was a re-enactment of a bit made famous by legendary comedian Andy Kaufman.

A video posted to YouTube showed Ryan, like the late comedian, challenging women to an inter-gender wrestling match.

But instead of wrestling women like Kaufman did, he was greeted by a surprise guest.

Jerry Lawler, a wrestler who was known for his rivalry — real or staged — with Kaufman, took Ryan on during the WrestleCon SuperShow in New Orleans, on April 5th.

Lawler tested the self-proclaimed “king of dong style” by shooting a fireball at Ryan — below the belt.

All Star Wrestling will be presenting “April Anarchy”  on April 27 at 7:30 PM  at Totem Hall.
