Looking to add a bit of thrill to your October plans? Or maybe you’re in the mood to carve a pumpkin while sipping on something cozy? Halloween in ÃÛÌÒÊÓÆµappis bringing a mix of fright, fun, and festivities for everyone this year!  

Here are some of the events for you to check out: 

 

  • Brackendale Haunted Art Gallery 
    When: Oct. 31; 5 to 10:30 p.m. 
    Where: Brackendale Art Gallery 
    Cost: $5 (5:00 PM family-friendly session) / $10 (7:30 PM spooky session) 
    End your Halloween season with a haunted house experience tailored for all ages and scare levels. . 

 

When: Ongoing

Cost: Varies 

Discover fall's flavours, from pumpkin spice delights to savoury local dishes. Check out the participating vendors at

 

When: Oct. 31, 7 to 11:59 p.m. 
Where: Howe Sound Brewing 

Cost: Free entry, with food and drink available for purchase 
Dance the night away with live music from The Tequila Monkeys and DJ Mike North  

When: Monday, Oct. 28, 7:15 to 8:15 p.m.
Where: St. John the Divine Anglican Church, 1930 Diamond Rd. (just behind London Drugs)


Cost: First class is free; drop-in is $15

When: Sunday, Nov. 3, 1 to 3 p.m.
Where: Alex Munro Fire Hall 1, 37890 Clarke Dr.
Looking for a way to get rid of your pumpkins after Halloween while supporting a good cause?

Bring your pumpkins and make a donation to ÃÛÌÒÊÓÆµappCommunity Christmas Care, and watch the firefighters drop them from the hose tower at Hall 1!

Parking: Please park only in the designated visitor spots or the overflow lot.

When: Friday, Nov. 1, 6 to 8 p.m.
Where: Brackendale Elementary School

In collaboration with Iona, a 4-H member promoting sustainable solutions, ÃÛÌÒÊÓÆµapp4-H is hosting a pumpkin disposal depot. Bring your pumpkins and jack-o'-lanterns and drop them into the truck bed to be taken to local farms for composting.

If you can’t attend, they encourage composting your pumpkins at home to reduce landfill waste and repurpose them for environmental good!

Fireworks Restrictions 

Don’t forget— in ÃÛÌÒÊÓÆµappwithout a permit, and the ÃÛÌÒÊÓÆµappNation enforces a complete ban on fireworks on their lands. This policy ensures community safety and helps protect local wildlife during the dry fall season. Read more.
