Woodfibre LNG has announced the recipients of its 2023 Community Partnership Program.
The partnership program was opened in early January, according to a news release from Woodfibre LNG, and invited ÃÛÌÒÊÓÆµappand other Sea to Sky non-profits to apply for funding.
In total, the company supplied $151,000 to 42 local non-profits.
The amount supplied to each non-profit was not disclosed.

"We are pleased to support so many hardworking organizations in ÃÛÌÒÊÓÆµappthrough our Community Partnership Program," said Christine Kennedy, Woodfibre LNG president, in the news release. "Woodfibre LNG will be part of the community of ÃÛÌÒÊÓÆµappover the long term, and it is a priority for us to support the important work of local non-profit organizations.”
This funding provided is on top of a previous $20,000 and $10,000 committed to Howe Sound Secondary and the ÃÛÌÒÊÓÆµappFood Bank from earlier this year. The new release states that another round of the Community Partnership Program will open in September 2023.
