, Whistler Blackcomb is forecasting a mix of sun and cloud, with a high of about 7 C, a low of about -2 C, and light winds. The freezing level sits at about 3,400 metres. The mountain operator is reporting no fresh snow in the past 12 hours, and a base depth of about 226 cm.
WB is reporting 50 groomed runs and 692 acres on Whistler, and 64 groomed runs and 751 acres on Blackcomb.
Both alpine and mid-mountain surface conditions are listed as variable.
"Clear and mild conditions are expected into the end of the week as a ridge dominates over the region, with occasionally gusty ridgetop winds expected with the associated outflow. An unsettled pattern is then expected to return this weekend with isolated flurries, and temperatures falling back to more seasonable values and light snowfall accumulations. Generally stable put patchy moist conditions are expected for the first half of next week as sunshine is expected each day and only very isolated flurries threaten," WB said in its morning report.
